Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Secretary Judy M. Taguiwalo today expressed her condolences to the families of those who perished in the Resorts World incident earlier this morning. She said that what happened was unconscionable and she hopes that justice would be given to those who died and their families who are now reeling from their loss.

“We hope that the investigations into what happened would be swift and the victims be given justice.  The families deserve to know what happened. In the meantime, we are one with all Filipinos in calling for an end to senseless violence in the country and for the recognition of the civil, political, and human rights of all civilians to live in peace and security and free from constant fear,” she said. #
